'Savvy' cybercriminals are using ChatGPT to fake as AI assistants on websites
There is talk cybercriminals are working on “deep fake chatbots” using CHATGPT to fake as an AI assistant on popular websites, according to Tech Guide Editor Stephen Fenech.
“Cyber criminals are now creating these chatbots on certain sites that will convince you that you are talking to the legitimate chatbot and maybe even try to extract information,” Mr Fenech told Sky News Australia.
“They’re pretty savvy cybercriminals … moving along with this technology to help with their cause.”
