Quantum computing is a powerful tool that opens a world of possibilities such as live-saving drugs, carbon neutrality and artificial intelligence. However, researchers are racing to create a new model for security in the age of AI and a vast quantum economy.
“Quantum information is just more finicky than any other form of information. It’s something you cannot copy. It gets lost very easily. It gets disturbed very easily” says University of Calgary’s Daniel Oblak.
