Stock Market Today: WDC, META & AI Strength

The Dow Jones closed up along with the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, and the Russell 2000. Leading the way to the upside was the materials sector, closing higher. Western Digital (WDC) led the S&P 500 gainers on a report with Kioxia. Most of WDC’s flash memory chips are produced through a joint venture with the Japan-based company. Look Capital upgraded Meta Platforms (META) to buy from hold with a raised price of $320 per share, implying over 35% upside. Shares of C3.ai (AI) surged over 23% after the company said it will exceed its prior revenue target for the fourth quarter.
