AI has potential to improve global economy, says Adobe’s Simon Tate
Adobe APAC president Simon Tate says that dropping the “doomsday view” of AI taking away jobs will pave the way for the technology to improve the global economy. Speaking to CNA’s Asia First, he notes that a report by global management consulting firm McKinsey on the economic potential of generative AI showed that the technology could increase overall productivity by 3 to 5 per cent in the banking industry.
