বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন, চ্যাটজিপিটির কাজ হলো এতে ইনপুট দেওয়া তথ্য থেকে গ্রাহকের চাওয়া তথ্য খুঁজে বের করে তা সাজিয়ে দেওয়া মাত্র। এর বাইরে তেমন কিছু করার ক্ষমতা চ্যাটজিপিটির নেই। ইউনিভার্সিটি অব সাউদার্ন ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স বিভাগের শিক্ষক জোনাথন মে সম্প্রতি এক নিবন্ধে লিখেছেন, মানুষ চ্যাটজিপিটির ভুল ব্যবহার করছে। অ্যালগরিদম অনুযায়ী তথ্য সন্নিবেশ করাই এর মূল কাজ, সঠিকতা নির্ধারণ নয়। সে কারণে চ্যাটজিপিটির দেওয়া তথ্যে ভুল থাকাটাও স্বাভাবিক।
