Artificial intelligence has come a long way since the early 2000s and is poised to be the next big thing moving forward. Gary Cohn the Vice Chairman of IBM joined yahoo Finance’s Julie Hyman and Brad Smith to break down what he thinks the future of A.I. will look like. “A.I. and machine learning could be the next big leg in worker productivity” says Cohn. The longtime tech executive believes very few things in this generation have the power to change the working landscape. “The laptop or the computer was the last major shift in worker productivity,” Cohn said. When talking about the impacts A.I. is currently having and what it’s capable of doing in the future Cohn said the technology “can allow people within the organization to be much more efficient at what they do” he then added that having this type of advanced learning in the workforce “could be a major productivity gain, allowing machine learning and A.I to be part of an organization.” Watch the full interview Here
