AI could either be the 'best thing ever' or 'the end of us'
Artificial intelligence will either be the “best thing ever to happen to humanity” or it will be the end of us, says Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Professor Max Tegmark.
“I’m confident we can get things right, but we need a little more time to figure out how to make this safe and make sure it’s something that we control rather than the other way around,” Professor Tegmark told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
