The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in favour of the Delhi government on the issue of who would control the officers in the national capital. A five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud held that the Delhi government would have all rights related to services and administration except in areas outside its legislative powers.
Uddhav Thackeray speaks on the Supreme Court decision stating that then Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari’s decision for the Floor test was wrong and that the court cannot restore his government as he had resigned and had not faced the Floor test. “If the current Maharashtra CM and deputy CM have any ethics, then they should resign,” said Uddhav Thackeray.
