Between this, the “orphanage” that sells kids to make them into Nikkes, The female commander that ran away since she was going to be turned into a Nikke and many other cases we have encountered throughout Nikke’s stories we really get to see how dystopian the Ark is and how precarious both Nikke and even Human lives are within the Central Government’s rule.
It is no wonder this environment created Crow and many other outlaws that wish for revenge against the Ark.
Crow testing our character the whole time was the cherry on the cake 😂
