New GPU for AI Inference & Fine-Tuning LLMs

NVIDIA AI Solutions currently dominate the AI Accelerator market globally. Finally a competitor emerges: AMD!

Yesterday AMD announced it is entering the AI Accelerator market (for our home-made AI models and our fine-tuned LLMs) with new upcoming MI300X AI Accelerator. Pure GPU power with 8 GPU chiplets! A simpler version of its MI300A (CPUs plus GPUs).

Currently no benchmark data for AMD MI300X are available, no prices have been announced, but even Forbes Magazine is already comparing MI300X to NVIDIA’s H100 Hooper GPU.
