This film was entered into the Gen48 AI film competition put on by Runway Studios. It was generated using a variety of AI tools including Runway Gen-1, Runway Gen-2, and Stable Diffusion. Participants were tasked with creating a short film in 48 hours using primarily artificial intelligence.
How we did it: After scripting and storyboarding, we set out to film all of our scenes. We made a point of making my character resemble our AI generated one as closely as possible. We then ran each scene through Gen-1 and stylistically matched them all. We learned a lot, and found that sometimes the best art comes from serendipitous mistakes.
