Speaking at the U.S. embassy in London ahead of a summit on artificial intelligence, Vice President Kamala Harris said leaders have a “moral, ethical and social duty” to address potential harms from AI and ensure the public can benefit from it. Harris said the dangers are not just a threat to humanity as a whole, but also to individuals, communities, institutions and vulnerable populations.
