A new report by the McKinsey Global Institute, the research arm of the consultancy firm McKinsey, says that women’s jobs are more at risk from artificial intelligence than men’s jobs. Generative AI tools like ChatGPT are likely to replace more women’s jobs by 2030. That’s because the jobs AI is likely to replace are low paying or clerical roles. Women are overrepresented in the types of job most at risk from generative AI.
