We begin by taking a look at a remarkable Gaussian Splat experiment done by the guys at Bad Decisions Studios (amazing name!) where they took iconic shots from a few of the greatest films of all time, and created 3d environments out of them!
To add to the fun, I’ll show you the most lo-tech way of achieving a similar effect with just your phone!
I’ll also be talking about the future of Gaussian Splatting, and why I think it will be the future of cinema at some point!
Finally, rounding out with a new AI Animation technique I’ve been working on, that solves the issue of those static AI Characters delivering their dialogue!
